The Human Resources Department only offered and provided administrative functions and services and was not a resource for Internal Staff nor a credible and productive business partner.

  • Researched Company goals and which HR Services would assist in meeting these goals.

 

  • Evaluated the current HR staff’s experience, expertise and responsibilities.

 

  • Collaborated with  management and surveyed current Internal Staff for input and feedback on current and proposed HR functions and services for the company.

 

  • Negotiated with the top HR Vendors that provided HR support and services to the Internal Staff.

Results/Outcomes

  • Hired and trained best in class HR staff which provided HR services that met and exceeded Internal Staff’s expectations.

 

  • As HR Director, became a member of the Resort Executive Committee and became a trusted and productive  business partner

 

  • Created an Internal Staff Customer centric and business operations focused HR Department aligning HR initiatives to the company’s goals

  • Published an employee/staff handbook in the relevant languages outlining company history, mission, goals and HR procedures and policies giving the staff a reliable and easy to use and informative guide and resource.
